The machines as used to this day in the chain of Rex Launderettes (Hull) were the old Broadbent extractors are used. These are around 30 yr old. Will try and record some footage myself one day lol. Great spin drain on these things. Made by Zanussi and badged as Rex. Come in 14lb and 22lb machines. I have been told they are similar to the old Wascomat machines.
