Ladies & Gents,

I was searching on the internet looking for more details on the washing machine i have just bought and it has written on it Miele which is a german make that i could not find on your website, so was wondering if you happen to know where i could find something similar with more details as it is a wooden oval shape drum with 2 galvanised steel mixer type of rotary arms, on one of the sides there is a pulley that was probably attached via a belt to an electric motor for rotary motion, the foundation is also wooden.

Any help would be greatly appreciate.

Dee

I'd email (mieleusa.com) and send them a letter regarding your find. I'm sure they'd be able to help in some way.

I think it is better to mail to Miele in Germany. There are the headquarters and all the knowledge about the products they made in the past. They are very willing to help people further with these kind of things.

Have a look at the link, could your piece be similar to the machine in the left bottom corner?

The butter churn vs the washing machine...

As I was watching I primarily thought that the wooden drum was used to churn butter. The same drum on the wobbeling washer foraloysius is thinking of had no inserts if i remember it well. The buttershurn did.
