Hi All , yesterday I got more Dash in and did a direct comparison to Greg's Dash test in his GE Combo by doing a load in my GE Combo.
That is a fairer comparison between his 1970's Dash and my 1960's Dash.

And now I have to ask since there IS such a big difference ( Greg can you stick one of your pictures on this thread so everyone can see )
What was P&G thinking in the 1970's??? They had built this product from nothing , marketed and attracted a loyal customer base and then went and changed the product in midstream!!
What was on their minds?? The market was already flooded with high sudsers! They were one of a few low sudsers out there, along with FreshStart, and All.
Was Oxydol supposed to be a low sudser??

Here's a close up

This is 1/2 cup as recommended and it is a full load of bedding.
Not nearly the suds Greg got from his box of Dash!!

Second Rinse

The second rinse was squeaky clean water but not Clear water!

And notice this in this and the next post!
If you take the shot with front light or backlight take a look at the difference. Which one would you drink???

Front light

Back lit rinse water

This is what lighting will do for a product!
See the difference in the same glass of rinse water!

Back lit

Very interesting Jon.
I just love your GE Combo!
I wonder what the glass of rinse water would look like using an HE detergent, in a new machine such as your Neptune? Do you think that it would be clearer?
Since you have been studying the contents of these detergent's, what is the difference between the two Dash product's? The 60's version vs. the 70's version.

GE Combination

Before I looked some picture about GE Combination:

-- I think it's 3 different programs
-- 2 different doors' glasses sharps (round & square)
-- 3 colors (brown, avocado [green], white....right?
