Hi everyone. Yesterday I saw 2 adverts for bosch and seimens. What really puzzled me was the fact that they were both called the vairo perfect, the drum style and the same door design. Even though the bosch ad showed me the drum and the Seimens one didden't I know this because my gran has just brought a Seimens and that the drum is so distingtive.

They're part of the same group: Bosch and Siemens belong to BSH.

Siemens is the more upmarket arm of the two; their output tends to have a more slick designer edge to it. It's also the pricier of the two and their washers tend to come with a full 5 years' parts and labour guarantee. I don't think there's really any difference in the internal components though.

Neff is also part of BSH.

BSH - 'Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH' or 'Bosch and Siemens Household Appliances' in English.

Apparently Siemens machines will have more metal components, higher rated motors etc. in them then the equivalent Bosch models.

However, apart from the Fascia, Door and programme options my Siemens IQ300 Washer Dryer seems to be more or less the same as the Bosch Exxcel model.

Siemens heat pump dryer

I have recently bought the Siemens heat pump dryer and it is superb. The clothes never seem to get as hot as in my previous dryer but it dries quickly and quietly just the same. Am moving house and have ordered the matching Siemens washer which should be delivered next week. Decided not to get the model with the I dos detergent system as I don't think it would have worked with the liqui gel that I currently use.

heat pump dryer

Hi, it does have touch sensitive buttons and they are OK... Every time you use them you get a different response but I would say 99% OK.
