I wonder will we ever get to see one of those Bendix dishwashers again. Mid - late 1970s there was also a Kenwood version - dunno if this was just to keep the then tradition of Kenwood dishwashers going - apart from the exterior they appeared to be the same. There was also a smaller version of the Kenwood too, not 45cm as today but a bit wilder - it might have been 10 place rather than 12 place. These machines were of Italian origin (I suspect Philco), there was also an identical Electrolux with large square buttons instead of round. Always loved the Bendix 7142A washer although it was not the best rated at the time. Note how Hoover had a "badged" version of teh smaller Bendix dryer too. Al | ||
