Today I spent the afternoon with a local service tech, cleaning out his truck and shop. I bought one Honda Element full of mostly NLA spare parts and I'd like to get them out of my basement. What follows is a partial list of the parts. I'll take pictures hopefully over the next few days.

An Assortment of Whirlpool timer dials (washers and dryers).
An Assortment of Whirlpool knobs.
7 GE Spiral agitators, small capacity & large, as well as fine and course splines.

2 Kitchenaid Hobart motors (1 17 series, the other is unknown)
1 Kitchenaid drying blower assembly, plastic housing.
Norge washer brake solenoid.
Whirlpool apartment-size belt drive washer pulley.

There's some more, but I'm calling it a night and going to bed. Who wants some of this?

Dave

Ditto

If that Westinghouse front load washer motor with pump is for a Laundromat I'm interested.

Pics!

I'm in the process of taking pictures of the parts. This is turning into a larger cataloging process than I thought. For folks who emailed me or messaged me, I'll email you pics. For everything else, I'll post them here. This may take a little time to finish, but rest assured, it will be done.

Thanks,
Dave

Here are some pics.

SQ / Amana Agitator. This one has the insert in the bottom (sold as a separate part when new) to attach it to the machine.

Even more.

WP dryer motor for dryers with belt-driven blowers. I believe these were 1964 and older. I think I have 3 of these motors.

Yet more.

Bakelite Maytag agitator. I think this fits wringers, and possibly s BOL automatic or two from the late 50s or early 60s.

Please pardon the dust. Most of these parts have been stored for a VERY long time and it will take me a long time to get them all clean.

Still more.

One of the GE motor and 2-speed clutch assemblies. I also have a spare motor mounting plate or two and some speed solenoids.

WP belt driven dryer blower. There is a good belt for this one too, although you can still get them new. The belt I have is black rubber, I think the new ones are clear.

Complete with lint at no charge (until I clean it)!

Surely somebody needs this! (And don't call me Shirly.)

I was told this came out of a 1964 Frigidaire. It's enameled steel, it's in good shape, and it's turquoise, what's not to love? Contents not included.

Another one!

Another GE motor and 2-speed clutch. I also have some spare GE pump couplers.

Even more stuff!

Timer and knob. The timer is supposed to work and the knob is in great condition. I was told this was from a 1968 KM Match All dryer. I have the aluminum portion of the control console with the sliding door too.

Last one for tonight.

WP control panel, minus console. This one has its wiring harness intact too. I think I've got some knobs for this one (at least the WL and temp knobs).

I'm going back for more this weekend.

The service tech from whom I bought these parts has 2 pumps his father reused (he was a service tech too). He took s spare motor and coupled it to a salvaged pump (2 setups like this). The service tech selling me the parts said the pumps may have been salvaged from Bendix washers. I saw them both and will try to get pics this coming weekend. He also said they didn't need to be primed and will pump air until they suck the water up the hose. His father used them to quickly drain washers that had stopped with tubs full of water. Might these be from Bendix Economats or Combos? Are there any other washer pumps that will pump air that these could be? Is there any interest in these pumps here?

As for the members who contacted me to see about getting some things. I'm sorting though and will send you pics of the items you requested. There is lots and LOTS of sorting, and I still haven't even gotten to photographing the little things yet.

Goodnight,
Dave

More!

volvoguy87's profile picture
I'll be posting more pics and parts. I picked up a 2nd load of parts yesterday. I've just been going out of my head being busy at work this past week. I'm also trying to rebuild a KM Belt Drive to give to a local friend so I can have some more room in the basement, so I've had only a fraction of the time I'd like to properly address the parts overstock.

I'm still plodding along,
Dave

Sorry :(

The only MT wringer agitator I've got here is black Bakelite. It still needs a home.

Hey Dave I can't see your email, If you can see mine, can you email me? I am interested in one of the GE motors with a clutch, pump coupling, and if the minibasket and activator/spiral agi that it matches is still available, I am also interested in that, I've got a few more things lol but I will await your email, providing you're ship to Canada.

I gotta question...what does the underside of that SQ agitator look like? I would be very interested in it if it would fit my machine!

Update.

volvoguy87's profile picture
Yes, I have start relays!

I'll take a pic of the bottom of the SQ/Amana agitator when I get back into town. It has the components on the bottom. I believe it fits perf-tub machines.

I'm going out of town this weekend, but next week, there will be a whole lot of packing and shipping. It's been a lot to catalog.

Dave
