My lil 2.04 intellowash was having bearing issues, and a couple of weeks ago I started to hunt for a new washer and dryer. Was on Craigslist this past week, and managed to find a decent deal on a Moffat compact set. It has an 1300 watt internal heater, 1000 rpm spin, 6 cycles, and the size that I need for the small space available in my utility room here. I used the 90 cycle yesterday for my whites, results were incredible, socks that were quite filthy came out looking like new again. It does take a bit longer when selecting one of the higher temp washes, but the results are worth the extra half hour the machine takes per load.
It does put a decent amount of water in for the wash cycles..very splashy washing with this one in comparison to the lil LG, the baffles really lift a lot of water. I know this is not a high end machine, but for the price I paid for the washer and dryer (225.00) and it only being 1 1/2 years old, I think I got a very decent deal. Only issue with them is the dryer sensor, the seller told me that the clean filter light would pop on after 25 min of it running, a look at the sensor and it does look like its pitted, so will go get a new one from Mabe next week and replace it.

Hehe :)) yes it's a gorenje, made in Slovenia. I hope your new machine will serve you well. I am glad you like it.

In the link below (from the gorenje website) you can see a similar washer as yours.

Yes Tom, but the smeg was made by gorenje too.

Now a lot of smeg washers are made by Beko or Bosch.

There is still one dryer made by gorenje. (see link below)

my dryer is a little bit different than the one on the website... its a regular vented dryer, not a condenser type

I really like Gorenje machines, they offer adequate quality at a fair price! I'm sure it won't let you down!
