Hi all,

Finally I've got around to posting about the maiden wash of the lovely 3314L! Everything went very well as you can see and she looks the part. I bet you lot were eager to see and hear it in action so I've attached the video in the following post and to save time on my behalf I've uploaded the pictures to an online album and attached it on this post. I don't think the spinner likes light loads as she viberated quite a bit on the first load as you can see. I'm really happy that the time, money and work paid off. I want to find the worktop for it.

Long live Dilys!

James----Excellent repairs and painting, what a fun machine. Thanks for the video, and my favorite still picture is the last one, your Hoovermatic has its own place, perfect fit in your laundry room.

Thanks

Thanks Mark

Yes it has a nice space to fit in under the sink beside the Single Tub and the Hotpoint Spinner (behind the curtain)

James.

Congrats James on the restoration.

Wish that I had your skills to tinker and repair and respray!

Really pleased that you are the proud owner of a classic Hoover machine.
Its nice when a restoration job comes good.

Have fun!
Paul
