The DD machine was much quieter than any BD MT DW and the first design of the BDs was even louder as the pump ran faster. Later to help control noise they used a larger pulley on the pump to slow it down a little. But as Bob suggested if it is doing a great job cleaning enjoy the quite. I worked for a MT home appliance store when the DDs were being sold and well through the transition to BD machines and the DDs always seemed to have a much better sound of quality to them as they were running. |
