Thank you for posting this. What a treat! 1955 was the year my parents got married. And our first dishwasher, some years later, was an early 70's or late '60's Frigidaire dishmobile with the slant/flip top. Was the delux model also with the electronic push button controls. Would love to find one of those.

With the introduction of the "P" models, I think about 1969. And later D&M designed models had the wash arm systems like Kenmore, etc. I think impeller designs pretty much stopped by 1965-66. |

Delighted by the way the portable looks so much like the WO-65's. Amazing. And that hose, complete with the aluminum hook, just like the washer's. Never saw one of these before. The wanting never stops. :'D Getting a kick out of the pretty lady in the matching green apron watering her plant that lives on the green "cabinet" model.
Wondering if anyone enjoys this machine. The drawing of the spintube's water spirals is so enticing. Ah Frigidaire.......... |

is in spite of their "mediocre" performance there are still some in existance! Robert, Turquoisedude, Dishwashercrazy all have one. I have 2, but mine are from 1963 and 1964. I use mine at the holidays and it always cleans flawlessly. |

Yeah, white, like the water going over Niagra Falls. Ken, virgins are overrated except for straight men who view women as possessions. Someone experienced at the job usually performs better. Thank you Steve for the disposer information. |

Robert, I vaguely remember when my parents began looking at houses (so this had to be 1960 to 1961), therer was one dishwasher I remember that was pink. I remember it had a wierd over-size 3-sided type of starburst pattern on the front of it. I saw a front-loading youngstown ad or brochure on here one time and knew that that was exactly what the dishwasser I saw when I was so little, a front-loading Youngstown. |
