Hey all! I have recently been given a new additon to my collection, the white knight 447wv vented dryer. The reason I was given the dryer was because I traded dryers with my sister, I gave her my old creda condenser dryer and she gave me her old (well not very old lol) white knight dryer. She has a curese does this dryer, she smells of cooking, can anyone help me with ridding the dryer of this rancid smell? I am sure that Chris (aquarius8000) will like to see it.
Tom :)

sorry never got quite here...

Thanks. I would clean it out by damping a cloth and wiping the drum out, leave the door open or smear ariel liquid in the drum and rub it in but leave it for a while though.lol

Forgot to add, Do you agree the hi heat is high on em wks? It melted the door and shrunk my best shirt!waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Post# 527197 , Reply# 7   6/27/2011 at 12:31 (4,679 days old) by aegokocarat (United Kingdom)

yep! when i used high heat on my clittle white knight it smelled of burning and the garments that i was drying were red hot so its perpetually used on low heat.
My full size 6kg one takes a long time to heat up so towells i would normaly dry on 60mims in a timed dryer take 80mins. promese me you wont laugh when you see my compact white knight, because my nice stuck hello kitty stickers on it (shock-horror) but i think they brighten up the plain white exterior

I can keep promeses for only best friends and you are one so I promise I wont laugh. yes in a way they would brighten it up rather than looking at a spinning white blob!
