I just found this set in the phoneix area. According to the ad it says from the 60's. I think they are a bit overpriced. Nice set though. I don't have that kind of money, plus I don't think my partner would be too happy if I brought home another washer and dryer. Hope someone can save this.

That's a nice set!  Maybe a bit on the high side, but when will you find another?

IF the price was lower I would be in my way to Phoenix right now!   And yes, they are early 60's.

I could make them an offer, but with being off work A LOT the last two and a half months... it's $$$ I don't need to be spending!

I think that's Granny's set, in Turquoise.

But weren't Grannies set all push buttons on the washer and dryer?

that was the later update of laundry models on the set.  the original, early show set had the models like above.  The first of the show one of the macihnes had a dial looking appearance and the other machine was all pushbutton.

GRANNIES MT

combo52's profile picture

Pair was an all push-button washer and a dryer with a dial. When MT introduced the all push-button model 160 they did not introduce a matching all button dryer until the model was changed to an A900 after 1960 sometime. The pair for sale was made in the early to mid 1960s and is not really a matched pair. Although many people did buy this combination of models because they did not want the lack of versatility that the all push-button washer offered.
