Funny Steve you should ask,
This would be a great time to buy some "Energy Star" appliances.
Wish I needed something, and had the money.
Peter, what are you going to get?
Brent

Me? Buy something new? I already am a part of a collection of 28 washers, plus the 30 some I have in storage! Something new? Not unless it says "Speed Queen" or "Miele" on it!!!

I will say, tho', that the LG dishwashers do catch my eye, but I'm still attached to my old WP DU8700...

A whole 4%, that oughta see the stuff flying out the doors. Just being cynical and somethings better than nothing I guess but I can't see many people trading in on that. I think what every state/prov or the federal governments should do is hold a year of no tax, and tax writeoffs on the full purchase price as a better incentive for people to make the switch.

I kinda like the LG DW myself event though I'm all for sticking with domestic brands.
