Lighted Controls

I would buy this just for the lighted control panel!

Have em.

I bought a set of these back in 96.  Awesome and still running at my cousin's place.  The only thing I didn't like about them was the water level control.  It is a five position selector, but only a three postion pressure switch.  The lowest, middle, and upper levels are positive control by the pressure switch.  The other 2, medium-low and medium-high are determined by time.

The machine times how long it takes to fill to position one and then uses time to roughly esitmate the next level up.  Works okay if you are running cold/cold or warm/warm.  But the cold rinse could be trown off my a warm wash estimate.

Other than that, I liked them.

Malcolm

I had a set of these too, back in '99. Possibly the best top loading washer I have ever owned. I only had them about 3 years, when I upgraded to a FL.

Why sell a perfect good working washer dryer for an upgrade

pierreandreply4's profile picture
Why sell an actual good working washer dryer set just for an upgraded the seller could of waited until the washer dryer set actualy broke before buying a new set and why upgrade to front load models when its much easyer loading and unloading a top load washer. And don't say i don't stick to realty here i am or say i am wrong i am just making a point here.

LIGHTED AMANA PAIR

The lighted consoles from these machines will screw right on to the current SQ washers and dryers. I already upgraded my SQ FL washer with one of these taken from an Amana dryer, and I gave another one to my brother for his disco SQ FL washer.
