This machine is located in Stevens Point, WI which is about 30 miles south of Wausau.  I would love to have the concrete laundry sink next to it as well.  I'll bet the sink is a double tub, with the built-in scrub board in front.  My parents have a  concrete double laundry sink in the basement, but no scrub board, the neighbors across the street did however, and was I jealous. lol

This Maytag E2L is located in Mosinee, WI which is about 15 miles south of Wausau.  Looks like July is shaping up to be Maytag month around here!

I like the avocado E2LP, Tim! Are you thinking of getting it? I'm really tempted, but it's a little far and I probably don't need another. ;-) I've seen a few here and there, but I don't think they're too common...

I'd love to get it, but storage space, and the wife's ability to understand my love of washers is very limited. lol  Stevens Point is just a hop, skip, and a jump down I-39.  I'm sorely tempted!

The green goes well with the blue wringer release bar. Our concrete set tubs in Illinois had the built-in scrub board. It was kinda icky because the ridges had to be scrubbed or else gunk, then a dried crust would form, even with good rinsing after a suds-saving laundry day.

Wow, I've only seen one green one in my life. I used to buy up wringer washers about ten years ago and sell them to the Amish. I saw a green one go for twety bucks at an auction but I didn't buy it as it was too worldy of a color for the Amish. Wish I'd bought and kept it.
