Hi there, I am so glad to have found this forum. Thru a post I found the diagram from the Wash Drain. Now we know why we hear this noise when the machine tries to pump the water (it comes from the ball valve).

The problem is the water is not pumped out of the machine and the ball makes a ratteling noise.
The pump motor is brand new - just installed it. The machine run's perfect till it comes to the drain cycle (it made it a couple times thru the entire wash cycle). But now is stuck and with water in the drum again and the display reads "check drain".
We drained the machine manually, drain looks fine - took the front off and checked the hoses (3) connected to the pumphousing (you can see the ball in the large hose)

We replaced our Novatronic (about 20 years old) with the above model - which came in a condainer from Germany with my mom's belongings. The machine was working fine in Germany - but we had it sitting in our garage for a couple of years. Our thought was that the pump motor was the problem of course we know better now.

Could anyone shed light on our problem, or have suggestions -- any help is appreciated.

Thanks so much!
