My nana used to have a Hotpoint WM41 1400rpm washing machine. Oh how I loved that machine. I used to watch it sudslock, rinse and when it spun at 1400 rpm for about a minute. It was replaced with a Bosch Maxx 1400rpm machine. If anyone has any pictures of this machine, please can you post them. Also, can someone tell me what programme 7 was because that was the programme she always used.

Thank You

Jacob

absolutely loved this range of Hotpoint Ultimas!

At least two family friends possessed the 95 series of this machine (the WM41 was a 9546 rebadged to join the WM series of the Aquarius in 1994/5). Another relative had the later ones WM43 I think it was, it was slightly redesigned before the WM71 set came out in 1998.

Below is the washer dryer WD41, which was on the very first thread I created when I joined!

I even think my aunt had a wm43 microprofile too brefore it got replaced by a 900 rpm Zanny. They were top of the line models and the wm41 may have cost upwards of £400? Please correct me if i am wrong.

This was made around 1996-97 IIRC We have one in our collection albeit not working as it should - no idea what the fault is the whole thing is dead.

Programme 7 should be Wool Wash, 40 degs low action, 1000 spin.

Perhaps in august I might pull it out and figure the fauls out, would be nice to get it working.

Sadly have no pics of it on my laptop.

Thank you Rob. I did think it was not long before the new WM's.
