This was ariston4life's idea for a competition. Just enter your designs and you can judge for each others ideas. The prize from me will be a washing machine design of your choice and information of a machine from one of my 2001,2002 or 2004 Argos catalogs.

Good luck

Jacob

No you guys are missing my point

Yes its nice your here, however none of us OLDIES find sudslocks entertaining, nor do we find it respectful that under 18s feel the need to swear or use toilet talk.

Is it too much to ask for a mature attitude to this?

I dont want you to leave, its not down to me anyway. I just find it embarrassing at times that between a group of children a lot of childish activity happens that needn't and is uncalled for.

Not really

As I have to admit that they are probabtly fed up of so many wasteful threads and I admit that I have made 1 unwanted thread but some people out there they say 'some people talk about nothing'. lets just give them a SERIOUS BREAK and save your threads as soon you will have very little to talk about.

find what you will thats offensive about a polite request to stop swearing and acting maturely around adults.

As for reading threads, Ive had every right to read them in hope of finding something interesting to read and have yet to find a great deal in them.

Oh and what makes you think I dont have Aspergers syndrome either? Dont go playing any condition cards unless your totally up on facts!

My designs

Hey guys .. Just here to show some of my work :)
This "brand" that I created some months ago when I started drawing on SketchUp, means diamond in another language ( wich I don't remember lol ) that I found in wikipedia ..
This machine would be like 6-7kg , not too big.
It has an almost 7 inch display , with a big buttom like the Navitronic ( This is a place wich has to deal with humidity , so no capacitive touch screen here! )
The dryer has the same display , and it uses the heat pump system.

Hope you like :)

I have Asperger's too, Jacob. I'm your grandfather's age. Gnarly. Both the Aspy and the age. Cutup in school, wasn't appreciated, but at the time I had no idea what was going on. Still can't wholly restrain myself, but try to keep it thoughtful though really I have no idea how other people feel.

Perhaps if you'd spoken to the bird in Spanish.....? "Vamos a la biblioteca, hay muchos libros alli, y podamos mess around por la esquina."

Matosch Professional

It's features are:
High Spin
8KG Capacity
Touch button control, with green lights
Start Button
Can be coin operated
MatoschIVDrum (See photos on my website for that!)
Door mounted onto the tub, as opposed to the outer casing-which means no rubber inside the door, so no mould.

No, The door is connected to the Tub (Not the Drum).
So as the tub moves (Shakes), the door will.
The door wont spin as it isn't connected to the drum. (Whatch the Video to see what I mean! Its pretty clear really, the door shakes, but its not spinning even though the machines drum is spinning)

(A standard front loading Home washing machine, the door is connected to the shell of the machine, and we cannot see the tub, its below the drum!)

How can the Competition be closed, and already have a tie if the Competition isn't yet closed.
For your information, the date yesterday was the 4th not 12th.
The closing date is the 12th you said! Next week I will add at least 3 more drawings.

My new Hotpoint range redesign

Here is my idea of the new Hotpoint redesign. I totally love the design, but always hated their panels and their options, so I did a redesign. (sorry about the picture quality, I hate JPG, you have a high quality image link).
All done with Photoshop.
PS. sorry about the unfinished screens, working on them to show the new interface, will upload when finished.

Hope you like it, please comment!

However, I sure Hope they would use Aquarius , Aquarius+ & Ultima. Plus I hope they will have the old Aquarius logo on them!
I think they look good!
Please tell me they are using the Aqurius & Ultima names though!

Jacob

Post# 535455 , Reply# 50   8/7/2011 at 04:19 (4,639 days old) by petarp (Osijek, Croatia)

@ Jacob
I did everything with Photohsop.
A little tutorial:
Open the image and make a new empty layer.
Select the "Clone stamp" tool and do the following settings:
BRUSH: size -> first start with a smaller brush, shape: round brush, hardness: 75%
mode: normal, opacity: 80%, aligned checked, sample: current & below

Then just alt-click on an empty area and after that click on the dials etc to get rid of them.
NOTE: you will have to click a few times to cover it all up, the opacity is 80% - for blending.

Hope it helped!

@glenfieldmathk1
They wouldn't use the old names, there wouldn't be any names for models. That would be because of a "new era" of their washers.

@glenfieldmathk1

I kinda thought about what you said, the Aquarius and Ultima names were there for years and years...
So, I rethought it and scraped the BOL model and made a new one.
With that model, I decided to include Aquarius, Aquairus+ and Ultima names.

Pic of the new BOL model, and updated "old (medium and TOL)" models soon!

My washing machine!

Hello, I'm new to the forum! Here is my washing machine from a fictional brand called Montgomery Appliances. The model number is FWM1090GB (F stands for front-loader, WM stands for washing machine, the 10 stands for 10kg, the 90 stands for it being a top-end model and the GB stands for grey and black.) This washing machine has a resistive touchscreen to control it, as well as some buttons underneath. They are (from left to right) Program, Power, Start/Pause, Back and Delay Start.

The machine retails for around £900 ($1450, €1000) because of its high quality. We have omitted features that are not used, such as fast washes using little water, steam modes and shoe cycles. The washer has technology to prevent shaking and quiet motors. The fan at the rear of the drum helps with agitation during prewashes, washes and rinses. It also keeps the clothes warm during spin cycles.

i would report that to the company you booked the holliday house from Luke!
when i whent on holiday to the west of wales (i am from the south of wales)
we had an indesit in the cottage wich was essentialy the same model of indesit we had when the old hoover softwave bit the dust excep our old indesit had the old style indesit drum not a whirlpool type drum, anyway it had a mouldy seal from the cottage owner being bitchy and saying you cant use powde (we had tablets so we stuck them in the drum)
at the end of our holiday i sayd to the owner "leave the door on the washer open to let it breath, its smelly and is mouldy!"
