In the picture you see a hoover ecologic panel. please can you tell me more about it. The panel was given to me when I was 5 but I never liked it because the crease guard button won't stay in. The buttons left to right are...
Speed wash,Half load,Econ wash,Wool,Crease guard,Spin delay and start/stop.

The pilot lights are...
Wash,Heat,Rinse,crease gaurd,spin and on.

It has 2 sets of thumb knobs wich are programe and delay start.

Chris

No, that was thrown away. G was a spin and N was a pumpout.

Your facia was once strapped to a bodyshell and set of electronics which, when combined, produced a Hoover A3958 Ecologic Autowasher 1300.

On sale from around 1991/92 through to the introduction of the New Waves in 1993.

Hope that solves the mystery for you.

The crease guard button won’t stay in.

Hi, I think the button was designed not to, the synthetic programs paused automatically unit you pressed it once and then continued to the fine spin.

Hi Chris.

Lee is right - the Creaseguard buttons on hoover machines were not an on/off style button, but a push in and release style.

The machine paused at the Rinse Hold/Creaseguard stage and you simply held the button in for two secs or so and then released it when the machine moved onto distribution.

The button on your facia is working correctly.
