Hi Guys

Thought i'd make a quick video of this 1973 Simpson Semi Automatic washer before it goes into storage to make room for a Frigidaire Semi Automatic Multimatic that's due in the next couple of days.

As the title suggests, a lot of the actions are done manually. Semi Autos were popular in Australia as a lot of families that couldn't afford a fully automatic were still able to enjoy the convenience of an automatic machine and it was step up up from the wringer and twin tub.

Cheers
Leon

What a great machine to have in your collection. The ultimate dial-pusher washer!

Can't wait to see the Frigidaire now...

I don't remember anything like this in Canada. Fun for those of us who like to "play" with our machines!

Please be sure and post a video of the semi-auto Frigidaire.

Guy

I love the hands-on experience and flexibility these semi-auto's give.  We're there watching the machine anyway, right?  Nice long spray rinse you do!
