That Wizard Imperial washer looks like it did everything but load itself!  Only $10.00 down and $3.25 a week too!  Western Auto.  Good times.  Good memories.

Who Built the Wizard

The one in the POD is a 1959 model, and that era machine was built by Franklin. Our webmaster Robert made a pdf repair manual available a while back. He has a 1966 model affectionately known as "the Pig."

What I'd like to know is how many of these machines were built. I've never seen one. I ask any club members: are there any of the 1958 or '59 models still around?

BTW I chose the Wizard as my wallpaper for this site.
