I have a Dexter washer that is badged Dixie Queen that I have tried for years now to find out more information on. Type of ads they used to market these and were they only sold in the southeast, and how long did they use that name. I know the washer was made in 1950. that much I did find out. So if anyone has any info at all please fill me in. Thanks guys. Don

Dexter is still in business and there are employees there who know lots about its history. Current and past. I saw a twin tub wringer washer on ebay that was made by them and it was wooden.they were able to give me an estimate on when it was made.I'm sure they could help find this one's origin.Go on line to (dexter.com) and they can help. They are a huge commercial laundry manufacturer.
