My other "new" find, besides the GSD2800 which I just posted, is the GE Trash Compactor below. I saw it on Ebay. It is approximately a 1984 model and was in its original unopened carton.

I like this model because it has higher trash compacting force that the Whilpool made models which are now used under the GE badge. It has a round bucket instead of the rectangular bin as in all Whirlpool machines.

The whole bucket lifts out of the machine, with its own built-in handle so you can carry it directly to the curb for trash pickup. (Just make sure the sanitary service doesn't take the bucket too, hehe.)
