The machine is a timeless beauty.. The thing is the company w.t. Grant no longer is, therfore I have no knowlege on were to get a part for it or who would have the moter for the spin cycle I need? Iam lost and it would be a shame not to get this machine working at tip top shape because the other parts work great on it! U live in spokane wa.. If that helps narrow down any places that could help.. If I cant get my avocado machine working I will be looking for a buyer shoot me a offer if interested or please tell me how to fix that darn spinner so I can have it forever.. Thank you for looking :)

lid switch

check for a faulty lid safety switch-also check whatever actuates the lid switch.
Unlikely there is anything wrong with the motor as long as the spinner turns freely
