Hi,
I have been using a Candy washer drier for the past couple of days. This machine is at the apartment that I am in, in Dubai. This block consists of around 120 apartments of which all have the same washers in them, so thats 120 Candy's in use.

This machine has been in use everyday and has been very good, I've used it with both the wash and dry cycles so its been on for a very long time at a time.

The drier is very efficient and quiet though I have not filmed this. I have had an issue with getting cottons programmes to work as I have had to continuously press the Start button and turning the machine on and off etc to get it to respond. It always comes on first time when usuing the Mix & Wash and Quickwash etc. I'm not sure when this machine was out on the market but I can see its made in the UK and appeards to be very similar to the Hoover Nextra.

I took some photos of the machine and will put some videos online.

My Auntie has the 1400 6kg Washer version of this machine, badged Activa Smart.

Apart from the occasional smell of burning for the first couple of months, which i thought was a taste of things to come, it's actually been fine for over 2 years. I presume as it looks Nextra-ish & is UK built, that it has the same underpinnings as the Nextra's, which explains why it's been a pretty reliable machine.
