While searching EBay for a discontinued part for my KDS-17 dishwasher, I ran across "pfesales". They have about 20 refurbished Hobart dishwashers for sale on EBay. I purchased the parts I need from them. I was told that they bought their inventory from another seller and they are posting parts and complete dishwashers for sale on EBay.

i saw those on e bay last week myself, lots of them, from early 16 models up thru 20 series (if i remember correctly).

they want $250.00 for each one, a bit steep i feel. i have never paid more than 100 for any of mine, except the kdss-17a stainless tub model i got from boston.

they say they are refurbished but i wonder what that means. i have found kitchenaids to have rusty sumps when i get them and i always have to sand, prime, and paint that area as well as completely tear down the pump and motor to check everything before i consider any of mine as "restored".

to each his own but i would be a bit wary of what i was purchasing for that much money! i would at least want to know exactly what was done to the machine!

but for anyone out there that wants a kitchenaid, there they are!

Glad to see another thread posted for the old KD series Hobart DW's. Just a note to DW collectors there are 2 AM-9t2 machines, a C-54(workhorse if I've ever seen one), an Am-11C, A CPW-100(oh if I had the money and space.) several AM-12's AM-14's and C-44's. There are also many WM, LX, and C-line-A dishwashers as well. I wish I could adopt them all.

Just was on e-bay.

Nice old Am series machines with the Cast Iron Spray Arms.

Couple of nice C-line series machines too.

And a few KDS 18s
