gotta make some room here and i picked up this 1962 frigidaire dryer last year from a member in maryland when i drove over to buy a rollermatic from him.

it runs fine, bearings seem good, it is a two belt type drive system. it heats fine but temperature control does not seem to work on the "no heat" or "low" settings.

the only problem with the exterior is a small peice of the console panel is broken off but i do have the peice. other than that it looks good. it does not have a lighted console panel but there is room to add a flourescent lite to it if one wanted to. i imagine the higher end models had a lite in this area.

i paid 50 bucks for it and will sell it for the same. will post some pics later this week when i get time. the wiring diag. on the back has 4-62 stamped on it for a date.

Pete, I am interested, but I would really like to see a picture. This might just match the 63 Frigidaire washer!!

the next 2 days, i will take some pics and post here for you. would love to see it go to you!!! someone who can appreciate it! you know me, i'm not big on dryers and have 4 frigidaires total. one i use, one is a matched set with a 65 rollermatic
washer, the third is stripped for parts and then this one! i wasn't going to sell it as 1962 is my favorite year from the sixties and i love anything to do with it! but i need some room and i have to clear out a few!
