Hi Guys,

The following Whirlpool BD is on ebay in Melb AU. Is this what the American ones look like?

This just looks like a Whirlpool with the controls on the front.

Regards

Nathan

I had a compact WP-KN machine that closely resembled the WP one in the picture.Same cabinet and control panel-but under the Kenmore name and a straight bladed agitator instead of the Surgilator. The washer was in a townhome I lived in while I was in Wash DC area. Was in Manassas Va.That little machine worked well-come to think of it a swap shop in the Manassas area had a WP compact machine like the one pictured-came with a matching dryer.the compact machines were popular in that area.Used a lot in townhomes and some apartments. My Kn machine also had a matching dryer mounted on a little rack so it was above the washer.

I wonder what they did to the waterfall lint filter?
Even the portables in that era had them!

Yes,my WP-KN machine did have the waterfall filter and the "bed of nails" filter element.Your entry reminded me of it.

comopact KM

I'm running mine as I type this. It's set up "dishwasher" style with the snap coupling on the faucet.
