I don't see these very often. Not a bad price.

1967-69 Belt-Drive 24" Kenmore....

And that looks JUST LIKE the Washer I grew up with as a toddler. The VERY ONE I grew up with is a model or two below this one that's picture.

I believe Gordon has one that's a step up from this one in his collection.

He did. It was a later version of that model (1969 I believe) with the gold str8 vane.

Have a good one,
James

I Just Bought it Today

It is damn near pristine in appearance the only thing i can find wrong is the bakelite agitator needs to be replaced. It seems to have been operated with the cap not tighten and the hex block has wore down the bakelite. Does anyone have an extra agitator that is standard capacity with the hex style opening along with the agitator cap. I will gladly purchase it and pay shipping to Louisville Kentucky. I am not picky about the color or style. It had a three fin straight vane agitator in it but i do know a roto swirl will fit. I took the one from my other kenmore washer and it fit just fine. I just tested the spin and it seems to be fine but i have yet to fill with water which I will do tomorrow. The machine was only $40 but I spent $60 in gas to drive from Louisville to Cincy in a V8 Chevy Silverado in the nastiest rain. After getting it home other than the agitator it seems like it will be worth it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
