Well it looks as if Frigidaire is not making anymore stacked units, as the new Kenmore line is like the new GE's.

I didn't think GE made their own stack set to begin with...

Wonder if this is a Hydrowave machine...

I asked Sears online when they started selling them, and the rep I talked to said that, yes, GE was the manufacturer of these so apparently GE makes their own laundry centers now. I would guess it would not be a hyrdowave washer, just the regular belt drive washer but I don't know for sure. If you look at the inside of the dryer, you can tell that it's of GE design.

I checked out the GE site and it appears to be a hydrowave. I downloaded the manual and it states that there are swoosh noises as the motor reverses back and forth, and it mentioned there were no gears used.
