Well, after an unfortunate accident when I slipped while opening the flap for my machines filter I snapped off the catch for it. I was googling the flap straight away and having absolutely no luck finding it.
Next day I phoned customer services and explained what I had done. The chap told me it would be £8 including delivery so went ahead to order it. As he was taking my details he noticed I had the 10 year warranty and sent me out the part for free. Got it two days later!
Just thought I would post to say that I have never had such amazing customer service. I know that £8 wouldn't have made that much difference to Miele but it was so refreshing for the guy to not charge me! As I work in retail I know how rare things like that can be nowadays!
