I remember someone asking this very question not long ago. I looked in the searchalator and found that it was posted on Oct. 30 of this year.

He was wanting to know what the part number was for the water level switch that has the Small, Medium, Normal and Large wording on the switch buttons. I've been doing some research but I don't seem to be getting very far. I was looking at some parts on line and one site lists the water level switch for the series 0 washer as 2-5336 and the button kit for that switch as part number 2-5339. They also list the same part numbers for the series 2 machines as the same number and I know that can't be correct. The water level part number on my series 0 washer that I just obtained says the part number is 2-3169. I am assuming that this is the original switch because the buttons are labeled Small, Medium, Normal and Large and the on line parts I am looking at are the numbers for the later series washers that had the labeling Small, Medium, Large and Ex-large. This would seem to make sense, since they would be more likely to have the parts for the later models than the earlier ones and if somebody replaced the water level switch in my old washer it seems unlikely that they would have taken the buttons off the old switch and stuck them on the new switch since the switches are interchangeable.

If I had an old parts manual I would be able to look this up myself, but as it is I'm just making assumptions. Could someone, "in the know", clear this up for me. Thanks,
Brian

p.s. I'm also looking for two of the little rubber and metal clips that hold the glass in the panel, if any one has a couple they'd like to sell me. Here is a picture of the machine I will be working on next summer.
