Hi to all, this is the story following my receny thread about water in the tranny and weird noise.... I removed the agitator and checked the shaft and seal to understand something, and surprise surprise, I found all the shaft, the spline and inside of agitator covered by a patina of dark grease/oil.....
Looking on a site I found out the part number for the seal but I can also see that there is a support for the spline, would be maybe went bad that too, or what else?
For me there's always the same problem to find parts over here in Italy, so if anyone have an extra one of these would be very appreciated if you can sell and ship one to me (I can pay everything with paypal).
I just have to figure out how to remove the old seal...just pulling it?
What should I do?
Any help would be deeply appreciated also.
I attach a link of a website that show a list of parts numbers for older GE that is very helpful , if anyone would need as well!
Thank you in advance!

P.S The seal I'd need is the one with less metal base, part number: WH8X291P

Who knows of an appliance store that could have one? Please give me their address or email so I will try to ask if they can do me the favor to ship to Italy.
Any help or experience would be deeply appreciated!
Thanks
