Belt drive washer. I think it's a 1987. The dryer is a little newer.

Located in Lexington, NC, behind a house under a tarp. Owner has purchased a new pair.

Just tossed out a twin to this washer. It will become a Kia due to a leak between the outer tub and the baseplate. Hopefully this one will live longer than it's Iowan sibling.

Hey Ben.

Thanks for replying. As far as I know, this washer works just fine. At least it does not leak. The owner said that occasionally it would have trouble going into spin and he'd have to pull it away from the wall and turn the belt by hand a couple of turns, then it would do fine.

The owner has been wanting new washer and dryer for a couple years, and the weekend that there was no tax was the catalyst that spurred him on to purchase a new pair -- a top load Maytag.
