I have the 1956 year model of the dryer that is in today's POD. It is a "vented" dryer (not a filtrator) with open heating coils instead of the calrod coils. I had no idea that Frigidaire even made a dryer that was "vented" in those days. It has a problem being that the heating element stays on constantly and even when you turn off the motor. You have to unplug the machine for the heating coils to go off. Does anyone have a service manual for this dryer or any idea of what I need to fix this problem. Any ideas or a copy of a service manual would be greatly appreciated.
Bob
