My family had one of these Hotpoints when I was growing up. The problem is that it leaks and the seller wants $49.99 for it, (way out of line for a fixer upper). Not to mention it is only available for pick up, no delivery. I'd pay that much gladly for a 50's or 60's model, but this one's probably from about 1983 to 1992, so there's no special value there. The seller has bought another set to replace it with when it's gone. Sadly, I think this one's headed for the dump. Hopefully they will give it to someone who can fix it, or sell it more reasonably.

I love it when the say "local pickup only",and the location says "Midwest" That could be anywhere from northern Minnesota,to southern Kentucky,Kansas to Ohio.

That is one of my pet-peeves on ebay - especially with a larger/heavier item, you can estimate the shipping any number of ways without having to "bother" the seller asking questions.

$50 for this washer is not out of line at all. After having several of them in my laundromat for 6 years, the leak is probably the $18 pump. These machines are so simple and easy to work on, anyone can do it.
