Usualy you can see staining from a leaking seal or hose. Often you can't see any stain where the pump is leaking. I have replace a lot of them on direct drive machines. |

Glad to hear it was nothing more serious than a leaky pump. I spoke to a WP appliance dealer who sold many of these machines and he confirmed that water from the front was the pump and not seals. You made the right repair but I hope you replaced the drive coupler and motor mounts while you had that beautiful washer apart.
