There is a home for sale here in Wausau that has an intact St. Charles kitchen with a later 1950's Kitchen Aid dw. The cabinets are turquoise, and it also has the drop-in electric stove top and wall oven. The only thing not original is the modern stainless steel GE side by side fridge. The link shows some kitchen pics. CLICK HERE TO GO TO polkanut's LINK |

This KD-10 is the first KitchenAid model dishwasher placed into production by Hobart. It has been up for auction twice before, and I had been watching it, hoping they would not receive any bids, and keep lowering the price until it was in an area I was comfortable buying. For the first auction is was listed for $300, and closed on December 14th with no bids. For the second auction, it was listed for $225, and closed on December 21st again with no bids. In between, I offered $100, but they refused, so I will be loosing out on this one. It is located in the Southeastern Illinois town of Olney. Mike |
