Recently I picked up a free DE806 which idled the Dependable Care Maytag Intellidry that I had previously. My parents neighbor needed a dryer which I gladly gifted to them. When they came to pick it up I learned that his father, Robert Lundy, was a chief engineer in designing the Maytag Combination washer dryer. They are going home to look for some old documents and clippings which they said I could have.

A new couple started attending the church that I am a member of. After they came to the house and the mandatory discussion of crazy appliance collections opened up. I learned that Charles Hubbard, my friends father, lived in Connecticut and was one of the principles in Landers, Frary and Clark which the Hubbards couldn't believe anyone would know that name. Charley's brother John is in Atlanta and calls are being placed to see what artifacts are left from the original home.
