Hey Guys:
Our neighbor passed away and they are moving things out.
They have a great KDS 19 portable.
I hear it works, but leaks has a leak and the upper rack has some rust.
Would anyone be interested? It is super clean other than that.

Ahhh.  A KDS 19.  A tough sell even if it's free, I'm afraid.

Whirl-Aid?

I wasn't sure which model it began with?

It's a Hobart, but has no heated dry cycle.

My Mom had this model but built in. Purchaced in 1980 and lasted until 2006. If you used jetdry the drying performance was good. And it was excellent at cleaning.
A lot of people dont like the way it cycled without heated drying but believe me it is far superior than anything made today.

Eddie Here.

That was my first Brand New Dishwasher back in 1981. The Cleaning that the machine performed was superior. It would take the Chrome off a trailer hitch. Yes, The drying was not good, but it cleaned like a "White Tornedo".

If I found one today, I would buy it as a back up.

My "New" KDS-20 is cleaning like all get out, but I still remain True to the KDS-18. Which I'm going to replace the timer in tomorrow.
