The kitchen at my restaurant* was hopping, as Mexican Lasagna was on the menu. Before you groan and begin counting the number of cultures such a dish offends, this one is made with from-scratch enchilada sauce and refried beans. Two vegetarian friends were here for dinner, so I was able to make the vegan version (which I can eat). I used Boca Crumbles in place of the ground beef, and Daiya vegan shredded cheese.

*SHUT UP AND EAT is so underground that only people who dine at my house know it exists.

Cycle:  Power Scrub

Options:  Steam; Extra Rinse; 160-degree Rinse

The screen also shows that the highest of three spray strengths is used with this cycle, and that it will wash both the upper and lower racks.

How long

A bit less than the lifetime expectancy of the machine :-)

I didn't time the cycle, but with the sad state of the deep sauté pans and the larger saucepans, I'm guessing it ran close to the full time. The cycles are quite often shortened by 20-30 minutes when a full load is normally-soiled.

Everything was spotlessly clean, as is always the case with this dishwasher. I've owned many over the years (from the last of the Hobart KA's, to Whirlpool, to pre-WP Maytag) and this one takes the checkered flag for cleaning, capacity, flexibility of loading, features, and quietness. I love it.

Consumer Reports says they're by far the least reliable of all the dishwashers they test, but I've not had a problem (yet!) and it gets very heavy use in this household.

Darren--- There is a quick cycle which takes one hour. You can choose to wash either the upper or lower rack or both on any cycle, including rinse only. I use the single rack feature more often than I thought I would.

It is a very quiet machine. I listen to music or podcasts of old radio shows when working in the kitchen, and I appreciate not having that compete with noise from the dishwasher.

Thanks Eugine..
I sold several.. but have no experience with them in action.
I like the lit tub .
And they have a hard food disposal.

I like the fast wash on a Whirlpool tall tub models.
I forgot the name if it lol...
Bob (Appnut ) does not like that Cycle...
But I thank its great with low soiled or prep
Dishes spaced apart the 30 min wash she's does a good job.

I can SAY that I am Very ....
Spoiled with Mike's ( Dishwashercrazy ) Sink Machines
Your out and dried in 17 min ....
That's ..
WASH , RINSE, DRY, POP HOOD OPEN , SET, For a couple of min
Put away lol.
yaa maybe someday.

I'll keep in touch on the performance in the future with you.
On your machine.

Darren k.
