Hmmmm... very interesting! I don't know what the seller means by putting that 'best offer' line in the ad, though. Are they willing to accept offers or could they be trying to start a bidding war??

After seeing, playing with and videoing Roger's Blackstone in Tucson a few months ago, I'd like to have one now.

BUT... on the East coast (sigh).

Hey Matthew (GEExtraRinse) since you're moving back to the East coast, now's your chance! Have someone grab it for you!

Kevin

Kevin,

Your video has really inspired me to get my butt in gear and start working on my Blackstone which came from Ben. It needs some parts (need to talk to you John, Combo52). Ben said it will not ramp up to full spin speed. Honestly, I have not even plugged it in since bringing it to West Peoria from Waterloo almost one year ago.

Fred created the thread #15587 in 2008 (link below) to talk about this washer.

Perhaps a Blackstone Expert could pay a visit to Peoria to assist in helping me get this machine fully operational once more.

Mike

That is quite a rare machine, but I'm afraid my limit is more like $100 right now, and even that is a lot. I'd go in a bit with someone, but that's the best I could do.

Man that 350 sure is a pretty washer! The 250 for sale is also a sweet machine.

250, someone grab this! $250 is not expensive for a machine like this. And they rung like tanks!

Jon - I bet they "rung" lol

Anyone near Reading, PA willing to do a pick-up and hold for a few months? Would be willing to compensate. Let me know,

Ben

Congratulations Graham on picking up this very cool washer, this was the very first washer my younger brother Jeff got many years ago and we rebuilt it and had it running like a top. You may already know but I bought all the Blackstone parts from Fred in Massachusetts if you ever want to fix your machine. I also have a 250 and 350 and one of these years I will tear into them and restore them, I will let you know when I get around to doing this. John

Who knows what might have happened to this machine if not for the networking opportunities this web site affords.

Congratulations Graham!  You're a member of an elite brotherhood now.
