Some of you here may remember me asking for info on my Dixie Queen washer built by Dexter some time ago and noone knew anything. Well, I was doing some more searching last week and discovered that a very popular department store chain in Florida called Maas Bros. Had a contract with Dexter to build them washers under the Dixie Queen name to sell at all their stores. Maas Bros. went out of business in 1991,but there is still a lot of info. online about them. Here is a pic of the washer.

What a beautiful 56? kenmore similar to my 59 to the left, would love to see pics and here the story of that machine. The knobs however are off a 94 whiteface dd kenmore so technically those knobs are in the wrong forum. |
