I see from the catalog blurb that this machine has automatic water level control which "...never needs setting. Will even add more water if you add more clothes."

Anyone know how on earth this feature worked? I don't recall any other Kenmores having this feature.

It's a puzzle, we've been wanting to find a parts list or service literature for this model but so far...

Appears to be a model 1106105860. Go to Sears website for a diagram. Seems to have a standard pressure switch but could be special for this machine. Somehow wired into the timer maybe? There is an item called a "SERVICE BELL" that may have something to do with the sensing of the water level but I am just guessing of course cause I don't know. Maybe someone else has seen one and can enlighten us.

Too bad the parts are NLA. I selected a few choice items (water level switch, timer, instruction book, wiring diagram), all of them "cannot be ordered."

The console parts includes a water level control accessible on the panel (same lever as for the "Suds" switch) ... but also indicates pushbuttons on the timer for "Large Load" and "Small Load."

The "service bell" probably is related to the OOB switch. There are a couple "service rotary switch" but the diagram and description doesn't make clear for what purpose.

Funny, I checked those exact same items when I was there, except for the wiring diagram.
