from POD 11/5, engineers

What ever happened to the designer/engineers that designed some of our favorite appliances? Does anyone get any notoriety for things such as the Frigidaire washer designs, the GE washer clutch that started in the mid 60s, and yes the Kenmore Lk in 11/5s post.
Was there just a generic, no name design staff?
Wouldn't be cool to have a Reunion like they do on VH1 and other arenas. "so the public can ask questions of these FAMED designers". Maybe we can ask what they have been doing since their famed days. what was their inspiration for the legendary creations.
I know some have probly past but at least we could put a name with their work and pay or dues.
