OK my KA parts dealer here says the gasket/O-ring/connector parts for my KDD-67 Fill Unit (coupler to the faucet) are all NLA ... the relevant parts #s: B110553 (washer kit), B110552 (aerator & connector ass'y - includes the previous washer kit),
M89038 (Gasket-seal, U-section) and/or A106955-2 (coupler, drain hose and ferrule sub ass'y, includes previous part gasket-seal). It leaks profusely at the faucet connection so will need some or all of these parts - but where can I get them? These parts, being from a portable were not common to Hobart commercial machines I'd assume. The machine is running superba except for this faucet leak!

Maybe I'm not getting what's exactly wrong, but couldn't you buy a new standardized coupler at most hardware stores?

no direct help on my end...but

Sorry, Roger, but I do not have any parts for the unicoupler that you need but as Ralph has asked, what exactly is wrong with the device? Is it possible that the part on the faucet may be worn out? I think you can pick that part up at most hardware stores or at most home centers.

As you obviously know, Whirlpool does not stock any of the parts you need so I would suggest finding the parts for a current production portable machine and buy the complete assembly with the hoses and simply(or maybe not so simply) adapt it to the Kitchenaid machine.

It may not be an exact fit where the coupler hides away when not in use, but at least you will be able to use the machine without spraying water all over the kitchen!

Maybe someone on here can advise what the very last portable machine model KA sold was and then see if those parts are available. Often times, the part numbers were very different from model to model, but they would all be able to be used from machine to machine.

Hope this helps.

there is a coupler available

from Phil Flaugher Electric in Ohio but it's very expensive ~$80, and I think all that is wrong is a bad gasket or seal, so I hope to find just that little part and avoid replacing the whole shebang! Thanks for your suggestions folks! Will see what pans out.
