Building Value, a store in Cincinnati, OH like the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store, has a 1960s Frigidaire dryer. I think the model is DCIN, although I could be mistaken. It's a white Custom Imperial with a clothes sprinkler and a lighted control panel. It has a rectangular dial face with the control knob below (missing the knob). They're asking $50.00, but can likely negotiate lower. If someone wants it, I may be able to pick it up and store it for a little while.

They also have an Ironrite model 85. The cabinet could use some cleaning, but the machine itself looks to be quite pristine.

Thanks for the heads-up Dave.

Headed to that area tomorrow for the day. Have been helping a friend of mine with a new thrift shop in Cheviot since last summer and have made many trips there. Not really interested in the dryer but want to check out the shop. Hopefully will have time.

Hey Bill, what is the name of the thrift shop? I'm in Cheviot on a frequent basis.

Tom, its called the Corner Bloc Thrift Shop. 3339 Harrison at North Bend. Across the street from Maggies Auction House.
Open Wednesday thru Saturday now, eventually will be six days a week.

It's part of BLOC Ministries which has a coffee shop in Price Hill and Cleves. Also a community center and soon to be arts center. They work to create programs to get kids off the street and assist families in need. The thrift shop will help fund their activities.

Thanks Bill, I'll have to try to stop in there sometime soon. Sounds like a worthwhile cause.

I've been planning on visiting the Habitat ReStore which is just up the street (North Bend) from there. Go past all the time, but usually after it's closed.
