Another case of "all this story is lacking is a Nigerian Prince or his widow." I would be very suspect of any of these machines because most of them come from China and, as a group, have had poor reliability. Koldfront sounds like a name concocted by someone who does not know English or the meteorological term "cold front." It also sounds like they were going for something that sounded like a smashup between Hotpoint, Coldspot and something else, maybe breakfront. This story, if not the dishwasher, smells fishy. Who the hell would name a dishwasher Koldfront, unless it was WP/KA going for another energy star and more Department of Energy money (AKA our tax dollars) by introducing a machine that held little or nothing and used cold water for the cycle.

There's probably a line of freezers that compliment the lineup.  There are probably microwave ovens branded Koldfront too!  Looks like a Midea product.

In the UK

They sell them across the pond as well! I think it's either Haier or Midea.

I think they're fine. If it's just you and you like the convenience of a countertop machine it's nice. I've had 3 of these and only one failure, and that was a 10-year old unit. These new machines have a full width tub and digital controls. The tub is the full 22" wide instead of 19" on the previous series and .5 inches taller and 1" deeper. These are more than likely Chinese but the build quality for this inexpensive, niche-market appliance is no better or worse than many bigger domestic brands. I really don't like having a full-size dishwasher for just me, I prefer the 18" portable or these.
