Kenmore
Model: 16639000
Ser: FL2004734
Stk: 16639

I am trying to locate parts diagram but no luck. I need the rubber h20 supply tube for the upper rack. Mine is worn and misshapen, and doesn't always align with the inlet at the back of the tub. It also has a pinhole in it and I just want to replace it.
I'm searching online parts resources but no luck or can't verify.
Thanks,
Bill

actually

I can't cross-check the part/model #'s, but I'm 98% sure this is what I need.

It appears that the tube has been redesigned so that it is one piece, whereas mine is 3 pieces.

On our 1998 Kenmore Ultra Wash, I took my degraded upper-rack rubber tube to Lowes or Home Depot and bought a section of clear vinyl tubing that matched the diameter. At home, I cut the new tubing to the same length as the old with a scissors, slipped it onto the plastic pieces, and it worked fine.

Bill -

The model number is incomplete. If you have the three digit source code and the decimal in front of the 16639000, I think you'll have better success finding parts.

Searspartsdirect.com will undoubtedly have a parts diagram once you have the full model number. I find their diagrams to be very useful.

Good luck!

Gordon

There should be a 665. before the numbers that you posted. Sears often did a poor job as the source code as so far away from the rest of the model # and in a different font.

Got the part

I ordered the part in the 3rd post from the top. Installed in literally one minute and works great. The cone-shaped receptacle fits much better against the water outlet at the back of the tub.

Crossing fingers that I can get a few more good years of use out of my UltraWash! I'm going to be very concerned when I have to replace it. I am not keen on $1000 dishwashers that take 2 or 3 hours to complete.
