Here's a little something we found last weekend when we were in PA. Never saw one before! Does anyone know anything about it? Thought it was interesting.....

would love to stumble onto something like that to add to my table top collection. Have heard of Royal chef but don't know much about them.

Cute machine! But why on earth would you split a small drum like that?

Cool petit washer. This is the first I've heard of the Royal Chef. Too bad you two didn't get your little documentary done in time for Oscar consideration! Great find, guys.

So beautiful.
Split basket is awesome, T shirt on one side, Drawer's in the other and no one doing the nasty during the wash...... Oh shoot!

I think that you are supposed to put that machine over a burner on the stove and use it to steam shrimp and clams, LOL.

"I think that you are supposed to put that machine over a burner on the stove and use it to steam shrimp and clams, LOL." I'm all for that!!

The only Royal Chef items that I know about are the aluminum pans, from the 1040's, that are made by the same company. The washer is all aluminum so I suspect that they tried there hand at several aluminum products.

There was a wringer that would attach to the top but it is missing from this one.

We just thought that it was a neat enough washer to add to our humble group of machines.

That is really fun - I would have given every one of my crayons to have one as a kid!
